TikTok Creator Rewards Program 2026: Requirements, RPM and How Much It Pays

The TikTok Creator Rewards Program is how TikTok pays creators directly for their videos. It replaced the old Creator Fund in 2024 and pays on qualified views of videos longer than one minute. This guide covers who can join, how much it really pays, and the mistakes that stop videos from earning.
What is the TikTok Creator Rewards Program (TikTok Rewards)?
It is TikTok's built-in monetization program for original, longer videos. Instead of a fixed amount per view, TikTok calculates rewards from qualified views and an RPM (revenue per 1,000 qualified views) that changes with the quality and performance of each video. You join it from TikTok Studio inside the app.
Creator Rewards Program requirements (2026)
Your account has to meet all of these at the same time:
- At least 18 years old (19 in South Korea).
- At least 10,000 followers.
- At least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days. This is a rolling window, so it keeps being checked after you join.
- A personal account. Business, government and political accounts cannot join.
- An account in good standing with no active Community Guidelines strikes.
- An account registered in an eligible country.
Which countries is it available in?
As of mid-2026 the program runs in 8 countries. The account must be registered in one of them; travelling there does not count. TikTok adds markets from time to time, so the Creator tools menu in your app is the final word.
| Country | Creator Rewards | Typical rate vs US |
|---|---|---|
| United States | Yes | Highest |
| United Kingdom | Yes | Slightly lower |
| Germany | Yes | Lower |
| France | Yes | Lower |
| Japan | Yes | Lower |
| South Korea | Yes (age 19+) | Lower |
| Brazil | Yes | Much lower |
| Mexico | Yes | Much lower |
Canada, India, Pakistan, the UAE and most other countries were not eligible as of mid-2026. Some sources report Australia was added in 2025, but TikTok has not published a full list, so check the Creator tools menu in your app.
Which videos count (and which do not)
Being in the program does not make every video earn. A video is eligible only when it is:
- Longer than one minute. A 59-second video earns nothing from this program.
- Original. Reposts, clips with another app's watermark and copied content are excluded.
- Not a Duet, Stitch or Photo Mode post.
- Not sponsored, paid or branded content.
- Posted after you joined the program.
- Seen by at least 1,000 people on the For You feed, the point at which rewards start counting.
What is a qualified view?
TikTok only pays for qualified views. In practice that means views from the For You feed that last at least 5 seconds, from real accounts, without being repeat or fraudulent views. That is why the paid view count in TikTok Studio is usually much lower than the public view count on the video.
How much does the Creator Rewards Program pay?

TikTok does not publish a fixed rate. Creators most often report $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views in the US, with finance, tech and business videos sometimes earning more, and lower rates in Brazil and Mexico. Here is what that range means in practice:
| Qualified views | Estimated earnings (US rates) |
|---|---|
| 10,000 | $4 to $10 |
| 100,000 | $40 to $100 |
| 500,000 | $200 to $500 |
| 1 million | $400 to $1,000 |
| 10 million | $4,000 to $10,000 |
Based on $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views. Public view counts are usually higher than qualified views.
TikTok says the RPM depends on originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement. Videos that keep people watching past the halfway point, and videos people find through TikTok search, tend to earn the higher end.
Creator Fund vs Creativity Program vs Creator Rewards
People search for this program under many names: TikTok Creator Fund, Creativity Program, Creative Rewards and TikTok Rewards. They are three stages of the same idea, and only the newest one is open today.
| Program | When | Status in 2026 | Videos that earn |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator Fund | 2020 to late 2023 | Closed | Any length, paid from a fixed pot |
| Creativity Program Beta | 2023 to early 2024 | Renamed | Original videos over one minute |
| Creator Rewards Program | 2024 onward | Open | Original videos over one minute |
The Creator Fund closed in the US and most European markets at the end of 2023. Accounts were moved to the Creativity Program, which TikTok later renamed the Creator Rewards Program.
TikTok Creator Fund requirements: are they still the same?
The headline numbers did not change: the old Creator Fund also asked for 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days and an adult account. What changed is which videos earn. The Creator Fund paid on short videos too, while Creator Rewards only pays on original videos longer than one minute, and it pays far more per view.
- Creator Fund (closed): paid a few cents per 1,000 views from a fixed pot, on videos of any length.
- Creator Rewards: pays many times more per view, but only on original videos over one minute.
- If a guide still talks about joining the Creator Fund, it is out of date. The requirements that matter today are the Creator Rewards requirements above.
How to join, step by step

- Open your profile and tap the menu (three lines) in the top right.
- Go to TikTok Studio, then Creator Rewards Program.
- Tap Join, check that every requirement shows as met, and accept the terms. TikTok usually reviews applications within a few days.
- Add a payout method so rewards can be withdrawn.
- Post original videos over one minute; only videos after joining count.
Rewards are added up each month and can be withdrawn once your balance passes the minimum shown in the app. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.
How to add payment info to TikTok Creator Rewards
- Open your profile, tap the menu (three lines) and go to TikTok Studio.
- Open Balance (in some versions: Rewards, then Withdraw).
- Tap Add payment method or Manage payment methods.
- Choose an option offered in your country, usually PayPal or bank transfer, and enter the details.
- Verify your identity if TikTok asks, then withdraw once your balance passes the minimum shown.
The name on your payment account should match your TikTok verification details, otherwise withdrawals can be held. Menu names change between app versions, so look for Balance or Payments if you do not see these exact words.
Why you are not eligible or not earning
- Below 10,000 followers or under 100,000 views in the last 30 days.
- Using a business account. Switching to a personal account is the most common fix.
- Your account is registered outside the 8 eligible countries.
- Videos are 60 seconds or shorter, reposted, Duets or Stitches.
- A Community Guidelines strike, which can pause rewards.
- Videos have fewer than 1,000 For You feed views.
How to earn more from Creator Rewards
- Aim for 1 to 3 minute videos that hold attention; watch time drives RPM.
- Use searchable titles, captions and on-screen text so videos are found through TikTok search.
- Post consistently to stay above 100,000 views every 30 days.
- Make videos for viewers in the eligible countries, especially the US and UK.
- Add other income on top: LIVE gifts, subscriptions and TikTok Shop often pay more than rewards alone.
