Why Am I Not Eligible for TikTok Creator Rewards? 10 Fixes

Why Am I Not Eligible for TikTok Creator Rewards? 10 Fixes - cover image
Quick answer: Creator Rewards needs all of these at once: age 18+, at least 10,000 followers, at least 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, a personal (not Business) account in good standing, and an account registered in an eligible country. If you are in and earning $0, your videos are probably one minute or shorter, or not original.

You have the followers, maybe even the views, but Creator Rewards still says you are not eligible, the option is missing from TikTok Studio, or you are in and earning nothing. Almost every case comes down to one of the reasons below, and most have a fix.

1. Your account is registered in an ineligible country

This is the most common reason. As of 2026, Creator Rewards is open to accounts registered in eight countries: the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico. Some reports say Australia was added in 2025, but TikTok has not confirmed it. The program follows the country the account was registered in, so accounts from anywhere else do not see it, even with 100,000 followers.

2. A VPN, SIM card or trip does not change your country

Connecting through a VPN, putting in a foreign SIM card or travelling to the US does not move your account into an eligible country. Eligibility is tied to the registration country, and switching locations can even trigger security checks. The program also pays out to the account holder's verified details, so the payout account must match.

3. You have a Business account

Only personal accounts can join. If you switched to a Business account for analytics or the commercial music library, switch back in Settings and privacy, then Account. The option can take a little while to appear after you switch.

4. Your views dropped below 100,000 in the last 30 days

The 100,000-view requirement is a rolling 30-day window. A viral month can make you eligible, and a quiet month can take it away. Check Analytics for your last 28 to 30 days, and post more often to get back above the line.

5. Your follower count dropped below 10,000

If you lose followers and fall under 10,000, you may lose eligibility. This often happens after TikTok removes fake or bot followers. Rebuild with real followers; buying more only repeats the problem.

6. You are under 18 or failed age or ID checks

The account holder must be 18 or older. TikTok uses the birth date on the account, which cannot be changed freely, and may ask you to verify your age or identity. If verification fails, or the name does not match your payout details, joining or withdrawing can be blocked.

7. Your account is not in good standing

Recent Community Guidelines violations, removed videos or restrictions can block eligibility. Check Account status in Settings to see active warnings, appeal any you think are wrong, and wait for the rest to expire.

8. Your application is pending or under review

After you tap Join, TikTok reviews the account, usually within a few days. While it is pending, keep posting as normal and avoid switching to a Business account or changing account details. If a review takes much longer, update the app and check Account status. If you are rejected, fix the reason shown and apply again once you meet every requirement.

9. Your videos are one minute or shorter, or not original

You can be in the program and still earn nothing. Only original videos longer than one minute earn. Reposts, compilations, clips from TV or films, and Duets or Stitches with little added do not count, and neither do videos posted before you joined.

10. You are eligible but earning $0

If your videos meet the rules and still show $0, look at qualified views. Creators report that only For You feed views watched for at least 5 seconds count, and that rewards only start once a video passes about 1,000 qualified For You views. TikTok's public newsroom does not confirm those two numbers, so check the qualified views figure for each video in TikTok Studio. A private account, or videos set to friends only, cannot reach the For You feed at all.

Still not showing? Quick checklist

  1. Update the TikTok app.
  2. Open TikTok Studio, then Monetization, then Creator Rewards Program.
  3. Confirm a public personal account, age 18+, 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in 30 days.
  4. Confirm the account was registered in an eligible country.
  5. Check Account status for violations.
  6. Check that your recent videos are original and longer than one minute.

If your country is the problem

Nothing on the account fixes a country block, because eligibility follows the registration country. Creators outside the eligible countries can still earn from brand deals and, where available in their country, LIVE gifts, Subscriptions and TikTok Shop.

If you are short on followers or views rather than country, you can keep growing or start with an account that already has 10,000+ organic followers and Creator Rewards on. Payouts go to the account holder's verified details, so if you live outside an eligible country, ask our support how payouts work for you before you order.

Why can't I see Creator Rewards in TikTok Studio?

It only appears for personal accounts registered in an eligible country. Update the app, switch off Business mode if it is on, and check TikTok Studio, then Monetization.

Can a Business account join Creator Rewards?

No. Only personal accounts can join. Switch back in Settings and privacy, then Account.

Do I lose Creator Rewards if my views drop?

You can. The 100,000-view requirement covers the last 30 days, so a slow month can make an account ineligible again.

Why am I in Creator Rewards but earning $0?

Usually because your videos are one minute or shorter, are not original, or are not getting enough qualified For You feed views. Check qualified views per video in TikTok Studio.

Can I reapply after a Creator Rewards rejection?

Yes. Fix the reason TikTok shows, make sure you meet every requirement again, and apply from TikTok Studio. TikTok does not publish a fixed waiting period.
