How Much Are TikTok Coins Worth? Coins to USD Table (2026)

TikTok coins are the currency viewers use to send gifts on LIVE. You buy them with real money, and creators turn the gifts they receive into Diamonds and then cash. This guide shows what coins cost, what common amounts are worth in dollars, why the price changes depending on where you buy, and what a creator actually keeps.
TikTok coin prices in 2026
Coins are cheapest on TikTok's website, because Apple and Google add their own fee to in-app purchases. Elev8or's 2026 coin calculator lists these US website packages:
| Website package (US) | Price | Price per coin |
|---|---|---|
| 30 coins | $0.31 | About $0.0103 |
| 350 coins | $3.65 | About $0.0104 |
| 700 coins | $7.25 | About $0.0104 |
| 1,400 coins | $14.49 | About $0.01035 |
| 3,500 coins | $36.20 | About $0.01034 |

In the app, a common small package is 65 coins for $0.99, which is about $0.0152 per coin. That is why we use two rates throughout this guide and in our gift guides: about $0.01035 per coin on the website and about $0.0152 in the app.

A quick way to convert in your head: on the website, every 100 coins is roughly one dollar. In the app, every 100 coins is roughly a dollar and a half.
How to buy TikTok coins for less
- Log in to TikTok in a web browser instead of the app and open the coin recharge page.
- Pick a package. Bigger website packages work out at about the same price per coin, so buy only what you plan to use.
- Pay with a card or another method offered on the page. The coins appear in the same account you use in the app.
- Send gifts from the app as usual. The gift costs the same number of coins wherever you bought them.
Coins are for spending on TikTok only. TikTok's Coins Policy says coins cannot be bought, sold or exchanged outside the platform, and purchases bought directly from TikTok are generally not refunded unless the coins are defective. In the EEA and UK the policy gives a 14-day window to withdraw from a coin purchase.
Why coin prices differ
- Website vs app: app prices are roughly 45% to 50% higher because of Apple and Google fees.
- Country and currency: local prices and taxes change the cost per coin, so UK and EU viewers see their own prices on the recharge screen.
- Gift costs by region: a few gifts cost a different number of coins in different countries. The TikTok Universe is 44,999 coins in the US and UK and 34,999 in some other countries.
- Old price lists: TikTok changes packages and gifts over time, and not every website updates its tables.
How much are TikTok coins worth to creators?
When a viewer sends a gift, the creator receives Diamonds, not coins. TikTok does not publish a fixed coin-to-Diamond-to-dollar rate. The common estimate is that a creator ends up with roughly half of the gift's coin value before fees, which is about half a cent per coin. Treat that as an estimate: some trackers put the creator's share lower once fees are counted.
One point many guides get wrong: the creator's Diamonds do not depend on how the viewer bought the coins. A Galaxy is 1,000 coins whether the viewer paid about $10.35 on the website or about $15.23 in the app, and the creator receives the same Diamonds either way. Buying in the app only means the viewer paid more, because of app store fees.
| Gift sent | Coins | Viewer pays (website / app) | Rough creator value (estimate) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rose | 1 | About $0.01 / $0.015 | About half a cent |
| Galaxy | 1,000 | About $10.35 / $15.23 | About $5 |
| Lion | 29,999 | About $310 / $457 | About $155 |
| TikTok Universe (US/UK) | 44,999 | About $466 / $685 | About $233 |
Creator value uses the common estimate of roughly half the coin value at the website rate, before fees and before any payout charges. TikTok does not publish an official rate.
The Galaxy and the Rose each have their own worked examples, including how many Roses equal a dollar.
How creators turn Diamonds into cash
TikTok's Rewards Policy says creators can trigger a Reward Payment for the monetary value TikTok gives their Diamonds, after linking a payment service provider account. The policy also says payments are subject to minimum amounts and that transaction fees may apply. In the app the steps usually look like this:
- Go to your profile, open the menu and tap Settings and privacy, then Balance.
- Open your LIVE rewards to see your Diamonds and their cash value.
- Link and verify a payout method. Your name must match the payout account.
- Tap Withdraw and follow the prompts. The minimum, daily limits and fees shown there are the ones that apply in your country.
Diamonds cannot be turned back into coins or gifts without TikTok's permission, according to the same policy. And to receive gifts in the first place, a creator must be able to go LIVE, which usually means being 18+ with 1,000+ followers. Viewers must also be 18 or older to buy or send gifts.
What is the most expensive TikTok gift?
Among the classic gifts, the TikTok Universe is usually the most expensive at 44,999 coins in the US and UK (34,999 in some countries), which is about $466 on the website or $685 in the app. Next comes the Lion at 29,999 coins, about $310 on the website or $457 in the app. TikTok also releases limited event and premium gifts, so the top gift in your panel can change.
Gifts are only one way to earn on TikTok
Gifts are unpredictable, because they depend on a few generous viewers during a LIVE. For steadier income, the Creator Rewards Program pays for qualified views on original videos longer than one minute. It needs 18+, 10,000 followers, 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, a personal account in good standing and an account registered in an eligible country.
