How to use it safely
- Before signing, get a live screen-share of YouTube Studio, not screenshots.
- Pay only through a method or escrow you chose, ideally in stages: part on Owner access, the rest on Primary ownership.
- Use the transfer timeline tool to put real dates into section 4.
- After the transfer, link your own AdSense: see how to change AdSense after buying a channel.
Prefer to skip the negotiating? We sell monetized channels at fixed prices, moved to your own Gmail in 12–24 hours with a 30-day replacement or refund. See monetized YouTube channels.
FAQ
Do I need a contract to buy a YouTube channel?
It is not required, but a short written agreement protects both sides: it records what was promised (monetization, strikes, real subscribers), when ownership moves, and what happens if something goes wrong.
What should a YouTube channel sale contract include?
The channel URL, price and payment method, the seller's statements about monetization and strikes, the ownership transfer steps (Owner, then Primary owner after 7 days), who gets revenue before and after transfer, refund terms and governing law.
Is this template legal advice?
No. It is a plain-English starting point. Laws differ by country, so have a lawyer review it for a large purchase.
