How Much Does a Monetized YouTube Channel Cost? (2026 Prices) - cover image
Quick answer: a newly monetized YouTube channel with little income sells as an asset at a fixed price; ours are $399.99 (Asian & worldwide audience) or $499.99 (US, UK & Europe audience). Channels that already earn are usually valued on a multiple of monthly profit on marketplaces, often around 11–15 months of profit, so a channel making $500 a month can cost several thousand dollars.

What changes the price

  • Audience country. US, UK and European viewers pay the most per view, so Western-audience channels cost more.
  • Niche. Finance, tech and business channels earn more per 1,000 views than gaming or music.
  • Revenue history. 6–12 months of steady income raises the multiple; declining income lowers it.
  • Risk. Strikes, reused content or bought subscribers cut the price, or should stop the sale.
  • Timing. New Partner Program requirements double on 1 February 2027, which makes monetized channels scarcer.

How much is a monetized YouTube channel worth?

A newly monetized channel with little income sells at a fixed asset price, such as $399.99–$499.99 here. A channel with steady income is usually valued at around 11–15 times its average monthly profit on marketplaces.

Why are Western-audience channels more expensive?

Viewers in the US, UK and Europe earn the highest ad rates per 1,000 views, so the same views make more money.

Is a cheap monetized channel a red flag?

It can be. A price far below others, especially with no live look at YouTube Studio, often means the channel is not monetized, has strikes or has bought subscribers. See the red flags in our guide to YouTube channel buying scams.
