Where to Buy Aged YouTube Accounts in 2026: Safe Options Compared

An aged YouTube account is a channel created a year or more ago that is sold to a new owner. People buy one to skip the brand-new stage and start uploading on an account with some history. The hard part is not finding one for sale. It is finding one that is really as old as the listing says, is clean, and actually becomes yours. This guide compares where to buy aged YouTube accounts in 2026 and what to check before you pay.
Where to buy aged YouTube accounts: your options
| Where | How it works | Good for | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open marketplaces (Fameswap, Accs-Market / DealBaron, PlayerUp, Z2U) | Many sellers list channels; some offer escrow | Lots of choice, comparing prices | Seller quality varies; you check each listing yourself; fees |
| Forums and Telegram or Discord groups | Direct deals between strangers | Very cheap or unusual channels | Highest scam risk, usually no escrow or refund |
| Direct sellers (like Instant Monetized) | The seller owns and checks every channel, one fixed price | A simple purchase with a written guarantee | Fewer channels to pick from; check the seller's refund policy |
Marketplace names are examples, not endorsements. See our reviews of Fameswap and Accs-Market for fees and escrow details.

How much should an aged YouTube account cost?
Aged channels without monetization are cheap compared with monetized ones, because age alone does not earn money. Price mostly follows age, whether the channel has any videos or subscribers, and how clean its history is. Our own prices are a useful reference point:
| Type | Age | Typical use | Our price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aged channel, Standard | 1–2 years | Start a new niche on an account with history | $24.99 |
| Aged channel, Premium | 3+ years | An older account for a long-term project | $34.99 |
| Monetized channel | Varies | Earn from your first upload (Partner Program on) | $399.99 – $499.99 |
Aged channels are sold without monetization. Prices from instantmonetize.com, October 2026.
Be careful with aged channels priced far above this unless they come with a real audience. Extra age on its own does not make a channel grow or earn. And be careful with very cheap bulk offers: they are often freshly made accounts with a faked or misleading age claim.
7 checks before you buy an aged YouTube account
- Check the real join date. Open the channel, tap More about this channel, and look at Joined. It should match the age in the listing.
- Ask how ownership moves. The safe way is that your Gmail is added as an owner of the channel (Brand Account), and after YouTube's 7-day wait you become primary owner and the seller is removed. Sharing a password only is riskier.
- Check for strikes and warnings. Ask for a screenshot of YouTube Studio's channel status, and look again yourself once you have access.
- Look at the videos and subscribers. A few old videos are fine. Thousands of subscribers on a channel with no views usually means bought subscribers, which can hurt the channel.
- Make sure it is not linked to someone else's AdSense. You will link your own when you are ready to monetize.
- Read the refund or replacement policy before you pay, and keep it.
- Pay in a way that gives you a record (card, bank transfer, escrow or a documented crypto payment), and only to payment details sent from the seller's official email.
Red flags when buying aged YouTube channels
- The seller will not say how ownership is transferred, or only offers a password.
- The age in the listing does not match the channel's Joined date.
- Huge subscriber counts with almost no views or comments.
- No refund, no replacement, and no way to contact the seller after the sale.
- Pressure to pay quickly in a way you can't trace.
Aged vs monetized: which should you buy?
Buy aged if you plan to grow a channel yourself and want to start on an account with some history for very little money. Buy monetized if you want to earn from your first upload, because a monetized channel is already in the YouTube Partner Program. From 1 February 2027 new applicants will need 8,000 public watch hours or 20 million Shorts views, so getting into the program from scratch is about to get harder.

Where can I buy aged YouTube accounts?
On marketplaces such as Fameswap or Accs-Market (DealBaron), on forums, or from a direct seller like Instant Monetized. Direct sellers check each channel and give one guarantee; marketplaces have more choice but you vet each seller.
Is it safe to buy an aged YouTube account?
It is safest when your own Gmail is made owner of the channel, the join date matches the listing, the channel has no strikes, and the seller offers a written refund or replacement. A password-only handover is riskier.
How much does an aged YouTube account cost?
Usually tens of dollars for a channel without monetization. Ours cost $24.99 for 1–2 years old and $34.99 for 3+ years old.
How can I check how old a YouTube channel is?
Open the channel, tap More about this channel, and look at the Joined date.
Is an aged YouTube account monetized?
No, not unless the listing says so. Aged channels are sold without monetization; you still need to meet the Partner Program requirements.
Do aged YouTube accounts grow faster?
Age alone does not make a channel grow or earn. It gives you an account with history; growth still depends on your videos.
